ABOUT ACD
We design and run natural resource management programmes and sustainable living initiatives using locally available resources.
ACD advises on climate change across agriculture, transport, forestry, industry, waste and green energy, from CDM and REDD+ to NAMA and NAPA, in line with Kenya’s Climate Change Act, NDC and National Adaptation Plan.
OUR SERVICES
We take organisations from first idea to a structured, bankable carbon programme. Our advisory covers CDM, REDD+, NAMA and NAPA initiation and implementation, written as Programmes of Activities (PoA) with detailed methodology, justification, timelines and itemised cost quotations.
Using Biodeposit Agro and Elixir organic fertilizers we restore soil life, hold moisture and raise yields on maize, coffee, bananas, wheat, vegetables and more, while avoiding the nitrous oxide released by chemical fertilizers.
Solar energy harvesting brings clean power to rural areas to run cottage industries, so farm produce can be processed, packaged and sold at higher value close to where it is grown.
Livestock and waste streams are a major source of methane. We guide biogas and methane-capture programmes that deliver cooking fuel and cogeneration, and register the reductions as a carbon Programme of Activities.
Sustainable Living Initiatives (SLI) built on locally available resources: water harvesting, soil and water conservation, agroforestry and forest protection that keep land productive for future generations.
Climate-smart production creates surplus. We help farmer groups move from raw produce into grading, processing and market-linked supply, including specialty organic coffee that can attract premiums in global markets.

Made from sapropel and peat, Biodeposit holds humic and fulvic acids, amino acids, vitamins and beneficial bacteria. The Agro series conditions and revives soil; the Elixir series promotes growth.
